Scotty’s Homemade Italian Ice is more than just a business—it’s a family tradition rooted in memories and love for a classic treat. For Scotty, Italian ice has always been about more than the refreshing flavor. It’s tied to cherished moments, like warm summer evenings with his dad, enjoying Italian ice together and listening to Yankees games. These experiences sparked a lifelong appreciation for how simple joys can bring people together.

In 2019, Scotty and his wife, Monica, decided to turn that appreciation into a passion project for their family. They wanted to share the joy of Italian ice with the Harrisonburg, VA community while teaching their children valuable lessons about hard work, respect, teamwork, and serving others.
